"Our team at work decided to continue the annual tradition of going out to a nice restaurant for a group dinner over the holiday’s. Last year we didn’t meet the minimum spend at the fancy restaurant we went to, and I ended up having to purchase a $70 bottle of wine to make up the difference… I wasn’t going to let that happen to me again this year! I did some research and found that Hy’s offers a private room with no minimum spend and no room rental fee. This was a perfect arrangement for the eight of us. Some were singles, some were couples, and the server set us up with bills accordingly. An automatic gratuity was added, which was fair. Our server was very friendly, informative and thoughtful. He was great at preparing all the table side dishes that we ordered and made sure our evening was enjoyable. The drink menu was available through an iPad – I still don’t understand using this new-fangled technology in a classy restaurant…"
