"JCT. Kitchen is on my list of places to try since arrival in Atlanta in June. This place was not disappointed. The outdoor seats, the service and the food were all fantastic. We started our meal with the devil eggs that were perfect. They were full of tangent and taste. The ground buckets were light and fluffy. I ordered the Day Boat, which consisted of grilled trout on potato puree with olives and sofrito. Fresh dill, parsley and chives gave him a herb layer to an already tasteful dish. The fish was perfectly cooked. I usually don't order trout, but I'm so glad I did that night. My husband ordered the fried chicken. In Atlanta it seems that any other restaurant claims to have the best friend chicken. In this case, JCT delivers.. It was among the best I had everywhere. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was tender and moist with a light dough that gave it the perfect crunch factor without being too heavy or overlaid. The drinks were also fantastic. JCT is just one of my favorite dining experiences in Atlanta, and I look forward to returning and exploring more menu."

"The only thing good about this place is its convenience if you are staying at the Omni. It should have raised a red flag that there were only like 6 people in the entire restaurant on a Saturday night at 6pm. It is extremely overpriced for underwhelming food! The cheese and sausage appetizer is a feeble attempt at something that could be great, but unbelievably it was still the best part of our meal. My wife had the cheeseburger and it reminded us of a cheeseburger you would get at a community ballpark. I had the Diver Scallops and they were overcooked and rubbery, the short ribs were also overcooked, dry and tasted like there cooked days ago and reheated. Highly disappointing and we won't be back! There are many other places nearby that would be a much better option!"

"Bacchanalia is a great inclusion on the Michelin Guide's debut in Atlanta. While I can't attest to the rest of the fine dining in Atlanta as a non-resident, I can say Bacchanalia objectively worthy of being included. The ambience is just right for all your special occasions. Service is fantastic, with silverware for each course and bread service. I love the prix fixe setup as it allows everyone to choose what they prefer, and the fact they can pull it off, props to them. The duck in the 2nd course is VERY VERY good, like I liked it better than the two ducks I've had at two 2-star Michelin restaurants in NYC. Orange is a classic pairing, so is the squash, but the addition of espresso, made it so rich. I could have that every day. The third course was interesting, I've never had a choice of how I'd like my cheese course. The smoked ricotta was decent, but my girlfriend's Brillat-Savarin was phenomenal paired with the honeycomb and sourdough croutons. It'd be interesting how often the menu changes, but given their accolades, I'd imagine the kitchen can handle bringing out new concepts!"
