"Let me start by saying the service was perfect. I was never left wanting. From the moment we sat down our waiter was pleasant and attentive and anticipated anything we might need before we asked for it. Now the biggest issue. The food. Under seasoned across the board. I was shocked. It cost us a fortune and the food was completely bland. Now seasoning aside. Let’s say I just have a salty tastes. Fine. But dish by dish we were consistently disappointed by the flavour. They started us off with an amuse bouche that tasted like Campbells cream of asparagus. It wasn’t bad per se but it was also bland. Then the biggest gaff of the night the lobster ravioli. It was bland. Cold in the centre and the bisque had no lobster flavour. The chucks of lobster were rubbery and flavourless. Finally I had the beef tenderloin which was actually really great. The flavour was there but again could’ve used a bit of salt. My girlfriend found the same with her scallops. She said the dish needed something to set it off. More depth I guess. But I bet it just needed a small amount of salt to bring out the flavour. I don’t like salty foods. I have more of a sweet tooth. So me needing more salt here is what surprised me. I’m usually complaining about how salty the food is. This meal cost me an entire days work and meant to be a very special birthday celebration for my soon to be fiancé and this is what we got. Again the beef was great the service was great but damn these people need to taste more often during prep"

"It’s not tourist trap! Food is amazing, the vibe is great! I’m local here and I’ll definitely go back again. One suggestion is to make sure you make reservation otherwise you might end up not having table during the peak time like dinner time."

"The wait staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. The restaurant decor was pleasant and seating comfortable - we were offered the choice of patio seating (which was street side and a little too busy for our taste) or dining room, which was just perfect. Doors were opened onto the street/ terrace area which brought in the charm and entertainment of people watching, but the atmosphere was calmer and the noise level was low enough to easily have a conversation. We asked our server for suggestions and were extremely pleased that we followed his advice. The veal chop (which has a more impressive name that I can't remember) was excellent- truly the best meal I've had in ages, and the wine our server suggested paired with it wonderfully. Our group of girl friends were finishing up our annually week long vacation and had experienced many good meals but we all agreed, this was the most enjoyable. I would certainly return and would happily recommend."
