"7 days a week in Geneva... if you are looking for seafood, so read this review. Look nowhere else and don't waste time for another place in the centre of Geneva. This is it... fruit from the sea with the best service and cozy ambience, you will go again and again. Lobsters, crabs, shrimps, cod, sea bass, oysters and snails. Beef, burgers and much more... "We showed with a large group of around 10 people all with our suitcases and luggage and were seated outside along the sidewalk. We ordered the prefixe menu to keep things simple. It was certainly solid. The starter plate had a good variety of raw fishes, the fish was wonderfully cooked in a delicious sauce, and the meat was very filling in a large portion and cooked nicely. Dessert was amazing from the mango mousse to panna cotta, etc. Thanks foretting us dine here!"

"Not a pleasant place, food not tasty, service is too slow and they forgot some order... the food we ordered for our son was upsettingly untasty, he just tasted it but didn’t eat. Feel upset about that and the prices were quite high"

"I was drawn to this place after reading the other reviews here on TripAdvisor but our timing was terrible. Firstly, we'd arrived too early (the place doesn't open until 6.30pm midweek) so my colleague and I had to stroll around the neighbourhood a bit and return later. And when it did finally open, the wonderfully warm but apologetic owner told us that her husband - the chef - had sliced his hand open earlier that afternoon, and that she had decided to cancel all the reservations which had been made to dine there that night.Well, she let us stay anyway, and when the chef returned shortly afterwards with a heavily bandaged hand, he conjured up a lovely dinner for us: starter dishes of squid, and also foie gras, and good steak for the main course. The decor is warm and informal, with walls covered with theatrical and concert posters, and the owner was utterly charming. Of course, the absence of any other customers meant the atmosphere was a bit lacking, but it's worth seeking out."

"Maybe, but he is also a waiter at this restaurant! After a long day of outdoor activities, we got back to town fairly late, and decided to go out for Fondue. We walked down the street from my friends' apartment to the Cave Valaisanne, situated across from the Cirque tram stop on #15 line. A fairly large building with large bright red signage, I fail to see how it can be described as "Chalet Style", but thats what it claims. Inside there are several dining salons with seating for many, some of the rooms are decorated with wooden panelling to satisfy the "Chalet" claim, and the decor leans definitely to Oberland Schweitz. The extensive menu offers many popular Swiss iconic dishes, but we stuck to plan and had the traditional fondue. This was a very generous portion, served in the time honoured tradition on a spirit burner with roughly hewn chunks of crusty bread. The fondue itself arrived quickly, and was pretty good, even by Swiss standards. The bread was acceptable, but not very rustic. CHF 24 per person. The least expensive white bottle wine offered seemed to be Fendant, which happens to go very well with Fondue. About CH 40. The grumpy server obviously was not happy with our late arrival, despite the advertised "Restauration non stop 7/7", and treated us poorly, but I have to point out that the other servers seem to have caught on to this, and stopped by frequently to check that we had everything that we needed. A good meal, sketchy service, and priced at normal Geneva tarif."
