"We really enjoyed Shogun, Alton. Great food, my guests had sushi and loved it. The servers were prompt, the Hibachi Koch was very good and entertained. The portions are huge and delicious! I'd always go there!"

"Great experience from start to finish. Parking was good, the hostesses were nice, friendly and professional, the waitress Kimberly was very attentive and nice, the Bus Boys were constantly clearing our table as dishes were emptied, the food was cooked perfectly. This was our first time and we will definitely be back."

"I'm really shocked. I had written SnS as a restaurant that was a bowl of his former self. During the pandemic I have seen how to take the quality of my closest SnS nose liver and it is almost never good. I'm not sure if Alton people know how well they have it in this SnS. Staff is friendly and accommodating and our Steak burgers are some of the best we ever had from a SnS. Even our pommes were hot and crispy, something my local SnS hasn't reached for years. The drive thru had impressed us. We paid and had bagged our foods and ready to go no less than 5 seconds after our change. It was so fresh when we sat down. I'm not sure what they do differently there, but O’Fallon and Edwardsville could really remember. Thanks for having a great experience every time."

"Oh, my God! This place was absolutely amazing and the staff inside was so friendly and beautiful. I ordered her Cinnamon French Toast Combo and it came with eggs and sauce and Bacon. It was soooo good! I love it! My family also ordered chic, crepe and pancakes and they said they were also absolutely excellent! I recommend this place for anyone looking for an amazing breakfast! I highly recommend this place! If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars, I would!"

"Grits were dry, more of a couscous texture. Corn bread was inedible. Pork steak was over cooked and dry despite being drowned in generic bbq sauce. First time trying, will try again next month and see if it was a fluke."

"First time ordering tonight and will be the last! Was highly disappointed! Got home with our food and our italian loaded sub was literally just a sub roll and ham, my buffalo chicken wrap fell all to pieces as soon as i opened it , my daughters caesar salad had no dressing and our onion rings were burnt! Had to drive the 15 min back to fix/re order food! I am a cook myself and know things can be crazy especially on a busy friday night but this was just sad! Not to mention a waste of $60 bucks!
