"Been coming to Hahndorf for years.Always had a drink here before venturing out for dinner.This time we had a meal on table which it will be our last.Meals had no taste,came out warm,One meal came out wrong.No table service,expensive. This is the worst review...I have given.It sadens me as its in my own state"

"Very Disappointed with the food and that’s why we go to any restaurants that promote themselves as genuine , authentic,excellent. All the various meals were lacking the flavours and standard that we were expecting from this Italian Restaurant that is well known in Hahndorf, consequently...meals were overpriced . We would have and regularly do pay the “ restaurant prices” and regularly leave a tip when the restaurant food lives up to its reputation. The wine beer selection was limited and again overpriced. Sorry these locals will not be recommending or returning ."

"Our recent dinner was disappointing. We have enjoyed lovely meals in the past but felt the meals that were delivered were dry and disappointing. Preparation time was longer than expected. Will be great to see changes to the menu appropriate to the season. Service is friendly and great views"

"A popular place where we remembered a previous visit a few years ago, this place is simply great to sit in and enjoy the atmosphere. It is brilliantly decorated with watches of all shapes and sizes, barometers, pictures, paintings, flags, plates, crisps, and pretty well everything related to Germany. it has a beautiful feeling, it with several different dining areas, including outdoors, a formal space, and one with exposed beams and wood lining. Many windows offer a great way to observe walking outside, and the furniture is comfortable and with a bit of European influence. The best was the cake selection, which included baked cheese cakes, strudels and beetroots. Really nice and add the feeling of Germany. All articles were very cheap and the staff was very friendly. We had a nice time to explore only the rooms and the furnishings, as there are not too many people in the early hour we visited. Breakfast and lunch was also available and it is conveniently located on the main road, quite well in the middle of all craft shops. Definitely worth a visit and also a great coffee."

"Best pastry shop i have ever been to. I had a chicken pie, apple strudel and a mocha. The pastry used was so thick and crispy, tasted so good. Mocha was well balanced. A must visit wen visiting handorf"

"Waited 50 minutes for a gluten free burger for a child , which eventually came out after every one else’s meal and the table behind us received there meals (who ordered after us) as a beef patty between 2 slices of gluten free bread. Not happy"
