"I have heard good things about Romeo's Kitchen. We chose to go for their Thanksgiving buffet on Oct 13. We were seated quickly and the service was good (not above average or exceptional). However, the buffet was pretty pitiful. As in, not enough food, empty serving bins, sad lumps of things here and there, an NO sweet potatoes at all and NO pumpkin pie!! Also, the turkey did not taste good, it tasted leftover. We were very underwhelmed. The waitress told us it's the first time the restaurant has done a Thanksgiving buffet, so we understand that some problems are to be expected. But overall it was very disappointing. With one beer and one glass of wine our bill was $87 before tip and it was not worth it!"

"Although the menu offers some nice meals we were only peckish and had some nice snacks of nachos, prawns, samosas. The portions are very generous and quite a few guests seemed to be leaving with takeaway boxes (doggy bags). They do offer steaks and salads etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stays open late."

"Great Beer Selection.Great Food excellent and unique selections, I made a very particular request they accomadated which leads to:Great Service.Great Patio.Also while I didn't have a normal coffee, Fernwood Coffee is the best, and they use it. I had a Carajillo and it was exceptional (though I believe they add a splash of milk to theirs).Highly recommend all around."

"This is the second time my partner and I have gone and it’s been amazing both times. Once for an anniversary, and this time for a birthday. The drinks are delicious, all of the food is amazing, one of the best steaks I have ever had, and such a lovely atmosphere. The staff/owner have treated us so well, and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for such a nice night. It’s a gem of Kamloops!"

"Daily specials are good, gotta love wing night for sure. I feel like this is a place for regulars - it is a bit cliquey but judging by how much busier it is getting they might just be on the way up. I appreciate the new younger server who was a refreshing change. I have had a couple of really good stops at McCracken and a couple of really disappointing ones so I have not given up but it would be nice to find my neighborhood "Cheers". because when it comes to a pub " you wanna go where everybody knows your name" ..."
