"LOVED our visit to Batson River – older Millennials caution, as with the middle of the 90s you can play early Noughties Playlist (Denke Matchbox 20 and Train , local craftsmen with the most beautiful unique pairings (Lavendel in a Whisky Sauer?! and extraordinary food. We were extremely impressed by the service, the taste explosions in food (e.g. candied lemon peel with beard on wood-fired asparagus and the kindness and attention of the staff. We are appalled that we were unable to have several meals here and will come back absolutely. Definitely worth a visit if you are somewhere close – and are intended to put Kennebunk on the map even more. Beautiful moods and local feelings also in the restaurant."

"People may say I'm crazy about this review, but my sandwiches weren't good. I have heard great things about her steak and cheese, a sandwich I love and get at a ton of places, so I went out of my way to try. The main problem was that the rolls were not completely boiled on both $13 subs. felt muddy, steamed and inconspicuous. I'll take her to the oven to make her edible. The steak and vegetables were delicious, but due to problems I could not say it was great (even if in a boiled bungalow). All right. I gave them a generous 4 and will try them again. It could have been an isolated problem. The service was good and fast. It also looked like they had a very coordinated staff and a clean kitchen."

"In a word, Phenominal! Came to Kennebunkport with my wife for 26th Anniversary and ate here for our final night of 2. So glad we did. I believe we met most of the staff who were each and every one incredible. We met so many, because our server was so busy, yet they refused to let us go neglected and had many come and insure we were seen to. The food was just as amazing as the attentivbe staff. When our outdoor seating became a bit chilly at our meals end, they found us accomodations in doors. It's places like this that make us say, we shall definately return often to Kennebunkport."

"My second time in Maine, and my second time here! Christian's Cafe is a Maine must-have. I got a Philly Cheesesteak Panini and an Iced Chai. It was the best Chai I've ever had and the panini was excellent. Stylish, welcoming, and very clean environment. Will definitely be back!"
