"We stopped by Le Bistro after a long trip home from Campeche. We were tired, road weary and hungry. I had wanted to try the restaurant but the timing never seemed right. We now have our go to restaurant for lovely and really good dining in Merida. We started with the Bistro Salad, mixed greens, blue cheese, apples, nuts, and a delightful balsamic dressing. It was beautifully composed, my only regret was we shared the salad. Wish we had ordered one each because it was that delicious.My husband order the grilled steak with potatoes and onion. I ordered the filet with Bernaise sauce. To die for. Both were extremely good, but we liked mine the best. They both came with an assortment of beautifully grilled vegetables, carrots, squash, mushrooms, and asparagus, can you believe asparagus, a rarity in Merida. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out quite rare, but I was glad they cooked it that way. For those liking their meat a little more cooked, I would suggest medium. We passed on dessert although I was tempted. We were just too full. I stopped by their small take out counter of pastries and cheeses and brought home a beautiful Camenbert. The service was wonderful, the prices excellent for the quality and quantity of the food we received. We'll head back soon."

"An exquisite dining experience in Merida for my wife and I. Everything about our dinner was perfect. We went with the degustation (tasting) menu with the wine pairing. All of courses were excellent and well paired. I particularly enjoyed the prawns, fish stew and the tomato flower. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Merida."

"I ate here with my son (we were looking for good pastor) and the food was super gross. The meat tasted off and was super greasy, the tortillas were hard, and my son got maybe two pieces of pineapple to share between his three tacos....It’s not expensive per se but was expensive for pastor (24 mxn per taco). The service was meh (slow and not particularly friendly). Although the location is unbeatable, it’s worth it to take a ten minute drive to get pastor at Los Taquitos de PM (or non-pastor tacos across the street, at La Chaya Maya... or literally anything anywhere else)."

"Sorry for the comment but first the waiter was very friendly and offer us to try the drinks the house offer. So we follow his advice but we feel a bit scamed when the bill came and for 3 alcoholic drinks 2 juice and 1...beer it was over 1300 pesos, also we had bo choice to zchoos the amount of tips we want to leave. Then we paid and they had no chance for us! Sorry you can't tell that to your customers!!!!! We insist to have put change back and they came back with 2 bags full of coins of 1 pesos. This is so disrespectful to your customers."
