"If you are looking for a little better than average Vietnamese-like vegetarian food for a really good PRIS, this is the best place I have found so far in the southern bay area! For the prices I went back in November 2021. Here is what I ordered: Looks like lemongrass meatballs, bought the 32oz. $9.25 Lunch / to go Entrée. I'd say tastefully, it's a 7 out of 10. Black bean tofu, bought 32oz. $9.25 Lunch / to go Entrée. 8 out of 10 for the taste. Pineapple tofu and fake beef, bought 32oz. $9.25 Lunch / to go Entrée. 9 out of 10 for the taste. Fake Shrimps, $2 every lunch / to go duck. For me personally, I wouldn't buy it again, texture was a bit too healthy for me, but some of you like it. Sweet and acidic chicken, ordered duck for $11,85. 9 out of 10 for the taste. Lemongrass chicken, ordered duck for $11,85. 8 out of 10 for the taste. $9.25 32oz. Container is definitely a better deal! You will probably get twice as much as compared to order a duck from the menu. If it were close to me, I would probably come here every 10 days! Price: 5 stars! Taste: 3.5 stars! (compared to vegan restaurant in sunnyvale I take care more about the amount for the price: so give this place 5 stars!"

"Excellent food and margaritas! I had the Fried Snapper dinner... which was fantastic! And my brother had the Stuffed Sole... was good, but extremely rich! The only MINOR complaint... the cocktail sauce was too sweet, not enough horseradish, and the tartar sauce needed a bit more dill pickle to it. Also, I highly recommend the strawberry margaritas!"

"This place was delicious. Great meat and large portions. The large portions and quality meat justify the expensive prices. This place has a cool western old vibe I love it. The salad was good but I would suggest going a little lighter on the dressing. Way too much dressing. The bread was excellent, nice and buttery. The fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and makes excellent leftovers!! And the baby back ribs were I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu."

"Very good food and overall good dining experience. Outdoor on the patio with the street shut down due to Covid. Shrimp and wings appetizers were really good, I had a hanger steak that was outstanding. The only bummer was that I was wearing a black face mask and took it off to eat. When they bused the tables at the end of the meal, they took my mask (the napkins were black, so they likely thought it was a napkin). I had strange looks at me when I had to walk back to my car, like, where 's your mask?"

"My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Grill on the Alley San Jose. It was such a great time for us at the restaurant. The food is outstanding, the mushroom soup is tasty, the filet mignon is juicy and perfectly cooked, and the lamb chop is flavourful. The service is overall good. Our main table waiter is super nice and professional. He knew that it was my husband's birthday so he decorated the table with some confetti, then at the end, he surprised us with a delicious cake and candle. However, there was another waiter that helped to serve our table and he was kinda not happy or he was exhausted I guess. Thus, he was lack of enthusiasm and was missing his smile at all times. Plus, when we asked for a to-go box, he cleaned all our utensils without asking if we finished or not, and at that time we were still eating like times. But honestly, I think maybe he was too tired or had a bad day so I understand. The only thing I would recommend to improve is the restroom, it would be a perfect place if the restroom was cleaner with some candle smell or scent. In short, we are so in love with the food. We will definitely come back soon in the future. Thank you"
