"I've been here several times for lunch and every time the meal was delicious. I recommend ordering steak. It's just prepared as you want it to be. The dining room is modern and with high ceiling. That gives you a great view over the place...and it's not noisy even the place is full. You can to business talk without disturbing anyone else."

"I have very mixed feelings about this place, but overall I have to say that the Tres Amigos food is disappointing, but this is somewhat offset but excellent service and good rather festive environment at night. The margaritas are a bit weak (though they will...stiffen them up for you if you request nicely) and it's pretty expensive for what you get (maybe not for Switzerland though), but you do meet interesting people."

"I have been in St Gallen for two weeks and this is the best food I've tasted. The meat, (lamb shish), and vegetables were cooked excellently, my tabouleh was perfect, lovely hummus and everything tasted delicious. If you avoid the temptation of buying a bottle of very nice Lebanese wine, (which I did not), you will have a well priced meal for this town! Friendly staff too."

"As one of the oldest restaurants in st gallen is very popular with local and tourist alike, so table bookings are highly recommended. huge thumbs up to the tenant and her team for the smiling and efficient service during dinner. as a starter, the octopus salad, which has proven to be very tasty. as a main course I enjoyed one of the home specialties: a really delicious part of ‘’Hackbraten’ (meat lamb) served with kartoffels kartoffeln. as dessert, I pampered myself with a decadent chocolate and earthly mousse. the prices are at standard Swiss (high) level. in consideration of the very good food and friendly service, I will come back happy."
