"!!!! WORST RESTAURANT IN STATESBORO !!!! Tokyo is one of the worst restaurant in Statesboro and should be shut down NOW . I 've been to Tokyo many times and have witnessed some of the most disgusting things. these are things I have seen with my own eyes so believe it or not. The whole restaurant is crawling with roaches , don 't think that your food was handle with cleaniessness . In the past couple of months , they have raised their prices and have been serving less food. I was told that the 'steak ' and filet is just BEEF cut into different shapes, they tell people that its steak and fillet and charge them more for it. GOD FORBID that they mess your order up bc they won 't give you a refund at all the best your going to get is 20% off which is basically a couple dollars off. The shrimp sauce .... is always expired if you go and that shrimp sauce is bubbly and you actually see it rise its because its EXPIRED!!!!!!!!! I feel for the waitresses I heard their conversations here and there and they were talking about how they have too pay the owners if the drawer is short , if their tables don 't want to pay for their food usually bc there is something wrong with it the servers have to pay it, and many other DISGUSTING acts by the owners. the last straw for me is the spring rolls I ordered some for my niece who is only a toddler and also super allergic to octopus and squid and lord and behold their spring rolls have octopus and squid. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE BASICALLY VEGAN NO ANIMAL MEAT !!!!! thank god I noticed them in mine before I gave them to her. I also called but in the end I was talking to a brick wall because they couldn 't do anything BULLLLL . THEY NEED TO BE SHUTDOWN!!!!!!!"

"Always a delight to eat here. The quiet atmosphere is good if on a date or alone. The dining is elegant and the food is even better. I show here the pineapple chicken, enough to share at $14. The pineapple holds rice and chicken in a carved out area of the pineapple. There is a heaping pile of fresh pineapple with cooked vegetables on the side. Yummmm"

"I went to college at GSU and used to go to Sugar Magnolia. Living in Vidalia at the time, even after college, I would make the one hour drive sometimes just to have lunch and maybe go check things out in town afterward. It's that good. My absolute favorite, and probably the best one I've ever had, was their tuna salad sandwich on rosemary focaccia! And those tiny gerkins served with it...YUM! I now live in North Georgia, and am having a bad pregnancy craving for one of these so bad that I can taste it! They also have terrific baked treats and much more! The fresh squeezed lemonade is delightful! Pair it with the tuna salad sandwich and you've got yourself one yummy lunch! Go check them out! You will be so glad you did!"
