"Tripadvisor brought us here and we were not disappointed. Terrific steak. The lady who attended to our table was so accommodating and I just watched her in amazement as she so expertly floated from table to table taking care of all her customers. We didn't have our steak with their famous Monkey Gland sauce but bought some back with us 1.5kg ... which happily flew back to the Gold Coast with us. Couldn't resist getting some ... delicious! Poor monkeys though! (although no monkeys were harmed in the making of it!)... just a kooky South African name!"

"This place serves consistently good food. I have had delivery a few times as I haven't wanted to cook and it always arrives as if it would if you were dining in. <br/ <br/ The chicken Parma was a huge serve; all Breast chicken and quality ingredients. <br/ <br/ The steak was terrific too but they forgot a sauce so it was a bit bland; the popcorn chicken we only got 4 tiny pieces so for the $15 that was a rip off! Tasty so would love more than 4 tiny pieces. <br/ <br/ Their side salads are some of the best in the area. Love the radish and salad greens they use! So tasty."

"Possibly the most awesome steak in the Southern hemisphere, and certainly the best I've ever had in Australia. Grain fed, tender, perfectly prepared and great wines to match. I've been coming here for about 30 years and it's always been awesome, food, service, atmosphere exactly what a steak house should be. Not inexpensive and it's a case of you get what you pay for. Having said that, for me the house made sausage, mixed grill and steak cooked over the mallee root wood fired grill always pleases!"

"We stayed at the hotel nearby and wanted a quick byte before late dinner. It didn't look popular so we had our doubts, but wow what an underestimated place! Good food good environment friendly staff and the steak was cooked just right. Worth every cent. Would be a regular if we weren't tourists."
