"As usual at Sticky Rice, the food is good and the service is not. No drink refills, slow to take our order, very slow to see we were waiting for the check after our meal. Server missed an opportunity for more drink orders. The slow service is partially to blame on the layout: servers have to run up and downstairs from the kitchen to their tables. Our food was delivered by a runner and we did not have sauce cups or silverware. After waiting for our server to check on us so we could request what we needed, we helped ourselves to cups and ate with our hands because our food was getting cold. More waiting after our meal for our server to come so we could request the check. We finally cleared our table to signal we were ready to leave. The server came promptly then."
