"Hard to understand the popularity of this place, when there are many much better Cantonese restaurants around. The seafood is supposedly their specialty but was disappointing. Scallops were about the size of a $2 piece and hard little nuggets. The crab and the fish were overcooked and mushy. Duck and taro was 90% taro with thin slivers of duck only.The service was friendly and helpful - our table all speaks Cantonese.Prices are very high for what you get.One last drawback - if someone could find a way to generate electricity from noise, this place could power the whole of Parramatta. We lived in HK for many years, so understand how noisy restaurants can be, but this was quite excessive."

"I have tried 3 of the Chilli Jam chain stores and the Parramatta one is definitely my favourite. The Pad Thai is the best Pad Thai I have ever had. It's a same they changed their menu and got rid of the satay noodles because that was my favourite dish. The massaman beef and pad see ew are also great. Thumbs up to them. I will continue to come back."

"I had the two choices with rice for $12.90. It was a pretty decent assortment of choice at the counter. Often you just have steamed rice or fried rice as the side but at Hokka Hokka you can also get stir fried noodles and my favourite Korean noodle - japchae which are sweet potato noodles. I prefer mine with more sauce though and a lot hotter but apart from that, this was pretty decent for take-away. I got a side of spicy honey chicken and yakiniku beef which was smothered is a delicious sauce. I don't normally like beef but this was actually really nice and didn't have that usual overbearing beef flavour. Hokka Hokka also do really good steaming hot soup noodles which is worth a try.
