"We had our absolutely best meal on this trip to Italy! We shared an order of pasta with a pesto sauce and a large spoonful of stracciatella cheese on top. The cheese mellowed the sharpness of the pesto and it was absolutely wonderful! Our waiter...was even so thoughtful as to divide the pasta between two individual plates for us. Our main dish was a large piece of veal tenderloin with a creamy green pepper sauce. It was one of the most delicious and unique dishes that we've had on our many trips to Italy. Finally, I must mention that our waiter, Fathi, was terrific. He was sincerely personable and was very happy to clearly describe and explain details about all of the dishes of which we inquired. This was probably our 5th time to visit Desenzano, and Al Fattore will be number one on our list of restaurants to which we'll return."
