"This is a perfect place to meet with a large group of people. You have a beautiful large margin from the side and the service is friendly and efficient. This elevated bar also has a magnificent view. A really nice place to have a few drinks and Nibbles and you can always have a taxi outside if you want to go."

"One of my faves on the shore. This restaurant is great for catching up with friends. Summer is the perfect time to visit. It’s sunny, open fresh decor just screams summer. The food here is always tasty and the service is good. I’ve also been here for a couple events, including the all you can drink Rose lunches and a larger event, all were fabulous and very well run.<br/>Highly recommend <br/>Beautiful view out to rangitoto and the park is just opposite, so if you’re bringing the kids you can take them afterwards and get an ice cream at Ben and jerrys"

"Taco night on Wednesday from Scarlett Slimms, nice place to spend the afternoon with friends or family. Also they have different daily offer which is very good deal. I give a try on battered fish and lamb taco. Both are nice and yummy."

"This place not only serves up great steaks and oysters, but also has a lovely variety of other dishes that are equally impressive. Their ceviche is wonderful and beautifully balanced… between tangy, creamy, sweet and umami. Beef tongue is so hearty and just melts in your mouth. Mac n cheese have a nice crust and they don’t skimp on the truffle. Service can be a bit slow but we got fit in on a very busy night. Can’t wait to be back again soon."

"This place looks inviting we had cider on tap which was good by the meat/seafood platter for two oh dear, it came within 6 minutes of ordering the seafood was watery, it seemed like it was deep fried a while ago and then frozen and microwaved on our order request, chewy and flavourless. Pork was old rubbery. I do hope this was an exception not the rule. I would expect more for $49 for the platter."
