"This is hands down our favorite sushi spot in San Jose. We first discovered them about a week after they opened 6 years ago and we've been loyal customers ever since. The owner gave us a sampling of the sashimi wahoo with their serranito sauce. It was incredibly delicious. So every visit we start with either tuna, wahoo or yellowtail sashimi serranito. Koi also has dozens of delicious rolls and creative sauces paired perfectly to compliment the rolls ingredients. After our meal we usually finish off with a crispy salmon skin roll that comes with a sweet sticky sauce that is almost like eating dessert. It you like it a little spicy ask for the roasted chilis in soy sauce."

"A friend of ours introduced my wife and I to this wonderful little place two days before we left Cabo. We went back the next day for lunch and stayed through dinner till they closed. Their oysters were amazing and can rival anything you will find on the Pacific North West of the USA. We ended up trying about a 3rd of the menu and it was all as good as their oysters, we were fortunate enough to met one of the owners (David). Super nice guy and his passion for his food and service is noticeable from the time you walk in till the time you leave. David and staff make you feel at home, we plan on making this a most stop for whenever we are in Cabo. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. You will enjoy it."

"Daikoku had a wide selection of Japanese dishes. It has a huge menu. The fried eggplants, salmon, rams and vegetables were delicious. I also loved the garlic lady. It was quite empty, but they have a lot of tables so they sometimes have to fill. Not a long walk from the marina. I'd do it again."
