"This is a lovely sushi restaurant at small strip mall near the ayres hotel in Costa Mesa. Prompt service.On the chefs recommendation menu they have a wide variety of rarely seen nigiri that are just amazing. "Had a nice lunch on Monday. Overall, it is a wonderful place with a fantastic seafood menu and fast, attentive service. We ordered several appetizers and a duck. The following photos show the shared parts for the Clam Chowder and Cioppino, which they did helpful for us without asking us. As you can see, the shared shares are also quite violent! Highlights: cream, tasteful Clam Chowder served with mussels in the bowls. The soup came out hot, which was also perfect for warm summer weather. Supplementary sourdough bread with whipped butter. We asked for a second portion because it was so good! It was soft and damp inside with a salty, crisp, buttery crust on top. Great, but don't blow your mind amazing: Bluefin Toro tartare was a fun build You your own temaki that came with spiced nori, sushi rice and toro. It was a fun and delicious appetizer. Cioppino came with a healthy part of Dungeness crab, including seafood. Very good, but nothing particularly amazing to be honest. Could have been better: I wanted to love the Mac and cheese. Visually it looked amazing and had some nice broiled cheese upstairs. You could taste the cheese, but somehow it lacked taste despite. The noodles were nicely cooked al dente but what was great. We ordered a dozen oysters. We had a nice series of oysters and they were mostly fine. Somehow they didn't seem as fresh/flavorful as others we had elsewhere, but that could be easy for us. Don't misunderstand us, it was all quite delicious. Overall a solid bet for a nice meal. Would recommend any seafood lover or people who want to sit in a beautiful indoor space that will feel like you still outdoors!"

"Honestly, not super impressed, the service was okay??? Nothing crazy but we weren't neglected and the server had a nice energy but a little forgetful. The spicy tuna on crispy rice tasted soooo fishy, I love raw fish but it should not leave a fishy taste in my mouth. The rolls were lackluster, when I got mine a few pieces had fallen over and when I went to pick it up it literally fell apart, could have been just a bad day but I will not be going back. Really felt like I wasted my money my friend didn't enjoy her roll either, the fish was just not good!"

"This place is located in the food court in Mitsuwa marketplace. There were a lot of different delicious bowl options! I was craving fresh fish so I got the seafood don. It was about $11 for the bowl, which is an ok price for the amount of food. Plenty of rice, but the fish portion was kind of small. The ginger took up one quarter of the bowl. The fish tasted fresh and had a good texture. The food court gets super busy during weekends, so finding seats can be hard. Just be prepared to keep your eyes peeled for seats if you want to dine in. Overall no major complaints!"
