"Stopped in for a quick bite. Had a noodle bowl with Chicken and Shrimp and a peanut sauce. Added some bean sprouts and it was delicious. At first I was not sure if I wanted to spend that much on a bowl, but after eating it, I was not disappointed. Will go back..."

"My husband and I were in search of a pre-mother's day dinner and had been turned away from four other completely full restaurants in the area. We pulled out our phone and googled nearby restaurants and decided to try this one. Boy are we glad we did!The outside of the restaurant could use some work. The sign is old and dirty, there is a broken down car with a tarp on it being stored right in front, the windows are dirty and filmy making it hard to see inside.HOWEVER, inside the restaurant is clean and tidy. The tables are new and have sunken induction burners installed with individual controls, so that eat eater at the table has a safe place for their own pot of broth. There are four broth choices and we tried the Tom Yum and Spicy broths. Both amazingly flavourful and we couldn't get enough. There is a cold buffet with a bounty of frozen meats, seafood and vegetarian options. There is a fresh buffet for noodles and vegetables. Eat as much as you can cook in your pot of broth over the night. Additional broth is just $5.My husband and I spoke to each other very little over the course of our meal, other than to offer each other a bite of something amazing or to just say yum. The staff were super helpful, being that we were the only Caucasians in the place, providing us with how to's and good food choices to try. I can't wait to come back with our children. Bangkok Hot Pot exceeded our expectations."

"While looking for another Chinese restaurant we came across Smilies and we're pleasantly surprised when we tried it for dinner. During the day, they have a buffet but in the evening you order off the menu. The decor is nothing special and typical of a strip mall type restaurant. We ordered three dishes along with steamed rice. Everything was fresh, very tasty, and the vegetables still crispy. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. Overall, I would say we made an excellent choice in trying Smilies and would definitely go back."

"Ah, Eddie's. I moved to the Northside during covid, and Eddie's has become both a go-to and a godsend. I LOVE donairs, so my bar is pretty high, and Eddie's not only reached it, but surpassed it. While the place itself is no frills (it's a donair shop, we're not expecting five star dining, right? , the food is amazing, the staff are super friendly and now remember my order as I walk in the door, and the quality is consistent every time. Portion sizes are great as well, so you'll never leave hungry. Maybe I'm biased, but Eddie's will always have a special place in my heart: my fiance happened to adopt our cat after finding him outside the shop (the cat has great taste! , and it's the last meal I ate right before I got engaged. My fiance and I couldn't be happier to be regulars and to support a local business that crushes it with flavour and quality!"

"Staff doesn't like it when you take coupons to this location. They visibly show frustration and the way they talk to people is noticeably rude. They are very good to people who pay the full price for a meal. Subway issues coupons and they are...expected to honor it with good customer service, but they don't like it when someone tries to use a coupon. I hope Subway takes note of this issue and takes necessary action."
