"We were recommended this place from a friend of ours so we decided to try it out. We made reservations, arrived and was seated promptly by Carina, very friendly as well as the rest of the staff. We started with the complimentary chips and salsa and right there I knew we had a winner! The salsa was to die for, had a nice smokey flavor and then just the right amount of heat, just enough to last in your mouth until the next chip. For an appetizer, we chose the Queso Fundido, awesome! Cheesy and the chorizo gave it just enough of spice, be careful though, it's cooked on a skillet and comes out really hot. If you wait a bit, the cheese hardens up a bit and its easier to scoop onto your chips. My stepson and his girfriend ordered the Carne Asada Taco and Pastor Taco plates. Beans and rice cooked to perfection and the tacos had great flavor, tender meat and just all around delicious. My wife ordered the Enchiladas de Mole, I had to try some of it myself, looked delicious and it was. The chicken was very tender, the mole sauce was sweet, a great balance of flavors all around, will definitely order that the next time I'm there. I myself had the Alambre and I have to say that was the best I've ever had. The meat was so tender, not like other places where you have to chew it to break off a piece, this was nice and tender. The flavors were well balanced and the cheese...OMG, that was the best! They used flour tortillas and they were baked just a bit so it gave it just a tad of a crunch but still soft enough where you could fold those too. We ended the day with the Mexican Cheescake and I like to think of myself as a coniseur of cheesecake. I always have one at restaurants when they're available. Today, they had a raspberry cheesecake which was a bit different than normal. It was topped with a raspberry gelatin and the sprinkled with fresh raspberries on the plate. I never had anything like this before but it was really good. I highly recommend this place!!!"

"As alwasy, Eiko's was excellent and a great choice for our family birthday event with people of very differnet ages and eating tastes. The food was excellent and I would highly recommend the ribs as the best in Napa. Service was on point and provided whatever we needed."

"Hal Yamashita was a beautiful, serene place to take our friends out to dinner for my husband's birthday. It wasn't too loud that we couldn't talk. The food was terrific. We ordered an assortment of items to check out the quality of the food. Our friend who travels to Japan regularly indicated that the food was as good as he gets when in Japan."

"Proven with high expectations, based on the Michelin review. all in all, no special mistake, but certainly nothing revealing about the meal. the wine list is especially economical(Your kenzo estate rose was added to tasty). Will 's were available twice the price they are in the rule. most of the dishes were acestically pleasant, but boring. the best course was the sushi course that was perfect. the desert was meticulously mediocre, with an object described as pfann cake unusable. the service was thoughtful and correct and with correct speed. overall, not much worth here."
