"Surprisingly good! the chinese inn is a sweet little restaurant among the apartments located next to the shopping complex tilax. our three celebrations were the only diners for the early evening, and this allowed me to take into hand the modern facility that could be described as organized, Asian inspired elegance. eating was great and the restaurant and the dining areas are extremely clean. If it wasn't so hidden, I would imagine that more people would eat here regularly."

"If you're used to fine quality authentic Asian dining then Eastern Tiger is not for you, however, if like me you've knocked about regional Australia, perhaps eaten at an RSL chinese or two, then this place will feel like a second home.The cuisine is best described as well and truly Australianised chinese, the usual standard fare were there, sweet and sour pork, beef black bean, honey chicken etc. Most food was turned over reasonably quick and cooked fresh there. The highlights for me were the BBQ Pork and cripsy skin chicken which I believe were reasonably authentic.We went on a Saturday night as it's the only night with fresh oysters from the coast but they had already been eaten by the time we arrived (7:30) but there were plenty of prawns and some crab still left. A basic basic salad bar existed, but you wouldn't come here as a vegetarian.My advice would be to sit down the front if possible, when we arrived there were lots of families (kids?) up on the top level and it was very loud. We ended up sitting in the front on the ground level which has the added advantage of being closer to the food!I booked a group of four using two groupons, ended up being about $60 for all of us including a drink eat, reasonable value especially as we all left packed to the gunnels! Could do worse and would be a good place to bring some kiddies."

"If you are not of Chinese descent (or White) they will not even offer you a water, while other customers (who were either Caucasian or Asian origin/Chinese were offered water even without asking, I had to ask twice for the same. I got out of...the restaurant feeling segregated. Avoid this establishment, keep your head high, discourage businesses which practices latent racism and apartheid era practices because this disease doesn't have a color, what it has is just a rotten mentality. Racism comes in all colors. According to them they are here for last 60 years- and all these years they are probably emanating the stench of racism."
