"My wife and I had dinner last night. It was my first time, and her second time. I had the Shrimp Fried Rice, and it was the best I’ve had since I was in Hong Kong in 1969! My wife had Pad Thai, and loved it. We had the Calamari appetizer, and it was really good also. The staff was very friendly, and provided excellent service. We only get to Anchorage a few times a year, but this is one more restaurant to add to our list. We will be back."

"Delicious in every way! Vietnamese food that actually has flavor! Oh goodness and their fried rice with curry is divine. Never really had a favorite place but now I do. Staff on duty, when we went in, were so friendly and so welcoming even my teenager was impressed (this says a lot). The place settings are cozy and the servings are generous. I recommend Ray's place to anyone and everyone!"

"We haven't had them for a while and we had extra money so I went all out for delivery dinner for us spent 68.00. To my disappointment the food was cold, took well over an hour and 20 mins to get here, the tempura shrimp and veggies looked extremely bad like kitchen scraps.(pictured in photo) They were soggy with oil and gag worthy. The rest of the food was really disappointing as well. I am not eating here again after this experience. Time and money wasted on bad quality food."

"My food was sitting on the window minutes before they brought it to me, it wasn't warm at that point. They remade it and it was tasty but it took minutes between ordering and getting warm food. My friend ordered and said no peanuts because she has a family member with allergies and wanted to share the leftovers. We saw the server pushing something from her plate into the trash before bringing her plate out and when I asked about it they said they forgot and put peanuts on but scraped them off. If I didn't notice and ask then her family member would have had a bad reaction. The food was good and the server was friendly but the service overall was concerning."

"I came here with my husband while visiting beautiful Alaska, wanting a waterfront dinner. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 drinks. The drinks were pretty good, but for $18 we got a shrimp cocktail that consisted of 6 pieces of shrimp in a wine glass full of mixed greens with hardly any cocktail sauce. At nearly $3 for each piece of shrimp we expected it to be amazing, but it honestly didn't taste completely fresh and one of the shrimp was not fully cleaned and we had to pull the Intestines out before eating. Overall. This restaurant is overpriced if you were expecting good waterfront food."
