"This review is based on one visit and one take out meal, a combination platter. Very good prices and large portions. A combination meal was more than enough for one person and equivalent to a similar meal in many competing restaurants in...St. John’s. The service was very good and fast. The restaurant looked clean and well maintained (but I didn’t eat in, so that was observed from a distance). The quality of food was OK, but some dishes (e.g. rice and Chow Mein) were a little bland and the egg roll reminded me too much of the frozen variety at the local grocery store."

"I've eaten here for at least 15 years, and given the choice, it's the only Canadian-Chinese food I'm buying. The classics are all great, and the more "authentic" (although I hate this word) offers like Singapore Style Noodles are also excellent. I never had anything bad from here. The Wonton soup is also phenomenal. P.S. Get the special filled sommes. Deep-fried dumplings served with diving sauce? P.P.S. Suppose they bring it back when this Covid business is completed, their lunch menu is crazy value."
