"I have now tried five times to come and try the winter warmer porridge and each time it has been unavailable. The fact that I have come five times shows that I know the produce and cooking are delicious. However I am going to seriously...consider whether I return. Each time I came for the porridge I was told 'next time ' or 'I am sorry we do not have it today '. Today I was told it had not been at Bondi Junction for weeks. Why had no one told me this? It is still on the menu. It is also on the menu at the Bronte cafe. I am inclined to believe that the menu is somewhat misleading. This has been truly disappointing. There is no point having good food advertised if you cannot deliver. Either keep your social media and menus up to date, train your staff to give accurate information, or don 't offer the food in the first place."

"I used to be there for many times.Stewed beef rice was still nice.However,it was 5.9 for regular size.Now it reached 7.9 as same as city price.Fried chicken a bit unsuccessful than as usual.Still good option for budget and flavor"

"We visited this French inspired restaurant with an Australian touch for dinner, the day after Bastille Day. We easily found a parking spot out the front of the restaurant. We were greeted and seated by the friendly waiter. The restaurant was clean, with crisp white furniture and bright art adding colour. They also played jazz classics with french lyrics for ambiance and were informed they have an open Jazz night once a month.<br>
The menu was reasonably priced using local ingredients serving French cuisine and dishes inspired by local produce, they are licensed and allow BYO. The drinks list was reasonably priced and keeping with the theme had French wines available.<br>
There were many tempting Entree options available my wife ordered the scallops with a chilli soy sauce. Although not really a French dish it was a decent portion and did taste nice. I ordered the Moules (the mussels) cooked in white wine parsley and cream. The mussels were delicious. They were well cleaned, perfectly cooked and came with bread to soak up the sauce.<br>
For the main; all reasonably priced at $25 and all served with sweet potato, sweet potato and greens. We both decided to order steak. My wife ordered the Tornedos Bernaise which is prime eye fillet steak with bernaise. I ordered the fillet be deouf au poivre, a great value meal for the price. Prime fillet with cracked pepper and a tasty cognac sauce. The streak was perfectly, cooked medium rare. The vegetables were also cooked well. <br>
We also decided to order dessert. My wife went for the pavlova and was kind enough to share with me. Crisp outer meringue and fluffy inner topped with passionfruit strawberries and cream. Being Australian; naturally we have eaten pav many times over the years and I consider this a Good pav. I ordered the chocolate mousse, which was smooth and fluffy. But after trying the pav, I was suffering from a touch of food envy.<br>
A great local dining experience and date night spot. With an experienced chef/ restauranteur cooking good food at a reasonable price and with BYO available.<br>

"If you want great steak, then this is the place to go. Make sure you book ahead or you will be turned away. I've always enjoyed my meals here and it's always been consistently good. I haven't tried anything else on the menu so I can't comment on the quality of other menu items but the steak is definitely beautifully cooked."

"For a convenient, kindhearted almost food option, craft cutsery ticks all boxes. her offer includes a series of sandwiches and salads as well as market bowls with a lot of meat thinking drawn pork and bark, pork bauch, roast lamb and cajun huh served with salat and brown rice with their choice of the side plus freeles. pick the kartoffel is really good and was a nice companion to the drawn pork market bowl. big smiles from the staff who were also very helpful to recommend menus to this first timer"
