"I'd give the vegan roast a good 7/10. Portion is very large and filling. And I was happy that the sausages were properly cooked, with a golden brown outside. Potatoes, carrots and peas were fine. Improvements could be thicker gravy and more stuffing or nutroast."

"I was back a few weeks. eating was amazing. I couldn't blame. the high standards of food and friendly professional staff made this a brilliant night out. there were twelve on our party that everyone was more than satisfied with his choice. I chose this place as he had a good vegan menu. I will come back at the earliest. I was so impressed and the more likely. that is now just the heaven for me! "

"Extremely nice personal- offered us a table and service within the hour before a reservation needed it back what they had not to do. especially the younger bar with glasses (apologies that I did not get a name). very good burger and does not leave it with this lethargic debt afterwards - not too fat or salty."

"We ordered by real burger for a Saturday lunch and it was a great idea! the veggie burger was very good and well served. the kartoffels were in order and I tasted sweet potato from another order and it was very good!"

"We booked this restaurant based on the fact that we have always enjoyed every meal and experience at other Botanist branches across the UK- this one fell short of our usual pleasant experiences As soon as we arrived, the waiter informed us that we are 'lucky ' because he was about to give our table away as they have a 15 minute leeway policy to hold the table for. I understood this to be the case, however we weren 't 15 minutes late? So that first comment wasn 't needed and made us feel a bit annoyed. There were no pleasantries as he showed us the table, but he did say that we have the table for a long time so there 's no need to rush When we sat, our waitress for the evening was lovely and really friendly, which was nice. I ordered the Prawn Linguine whilst my boyfriend had the Thai Red Curry hanging kebab. He did originally ask if the kitchen could do a blue cheese sauce as he was wanting a steak, however they couldn 't accommodate that but this was no issue at all We waited a normal amount of time for the mains to come. The linguine got quite overwhelming after a while and was quite oily- so much so that oil was dripping down the cutlery whenever I put them to rest on the side of the bowl. I do have to say I am no good with oily/greasy food so this may have affected me more than other people. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal After our mains were taken away, we were given the dessert menus but we asked our waitress if we could have a bit of time for our mains to settle and she happily agreed to coming back later. By the time she came back and we were ready to order- she apologised and said we have to give our table up as the next table was here? I couldn 't understand how we were told we have no need to rush but the next second we have to leave the table? This contradicted what the original waiter said when showing us our table so this immediately made us wonder whether they were trying to squeeze in a walk-in group? We didn 't make a fuss and the waitress helped us carry our drinks over to another table for us to finish Overall this experience was really quite disappointing. When it came to paying, as they had taken us off our table it made it a faff for them to try and find our bill. They added a service charge which we took off (they had no issue doing this). When booking it stated that we had our table for 90mins from the booking time- however we were there for 70mins- which would have left us 20mins for us to enjoy our dessert instead of our time being cut short"
