"Delicious freshly made ice cream served by University of Delaware students. They also have a selection of cheese and cheese curds. There’s a large parking lot. There’s a walk up window as well as a shop. There are picnic tables outside. We’ve been many times over the past 10 years and enjoyed it every time."

"I love Google reviews for helping me find gems like this place. Delicious breakfast and lattes. The sausage egg sandwich should really be called the sausage hamburger with egg! It is huge. The huevos rancheros was huge and tasty. More beans and less cheese would be good but was delicious. The pancakes were the best I have had in a while. Super fluffy. We are stuffed. Great job, keep it up."

"First time at Taverna! The bread and sun dried tomato oil is delicious. Also had a 121 cocktail and the fresca, YUM!! Baked salmon and chicken entrees were amazing. Thanks Taverna!"

"The food was good the first time I went there. And the staff was good as well as the music. I sat outside had a wonderful time. However, I go back about 3 weeks later and I take five friends and it's a 360-degree difference. The wait staff was awful, the service, and the sangria. We had the blue sangria first to try it and it tastes a little bit too strong but it had 3 pieces of fruit and a lot of ice. I asked for another sangria later because the food was still good and it's pictured here. But the red sangria was ordered and brought out and was totally awful! It tastes like a juice out of 7-Eleven. The bartender did try to make up for it by offering us bottom shelf shots. Try it, maybe your opinion will be different from mine and maybe your service too. I don't know if I'll be back ever return."

"The food, service and drinks were great but I made a reservation a couple hours before we arrived and when we got there they had a private party booked and had no tables in the restaurant itself. We sat at a small table in the lobby and were treated great but taking reservations without space was suspect"

"There is no shortage of chicken places in the neighborhood. This is one of the best! All people working there are kind, decent, people. They are proud of the food they make. The chicken is always fresh and delicious! Have also ordered some other items from the menu and they were all delicious. I miss the old French Pommes. I hope they'll come back one day."

"My bride was a little taken aback by the presentation but loved the spice. I have been to New Orleans several times and am always looking for local venues that do justice to the style. This place does it in spades we had one of the combo plates for two. Yummy!"

"We were a bit late, but our reservation was honored. We were seated quickly, our orders were taken when we were ready, drinks brought quickly and refreshed as needed. Food was good, the Sloppy Edison sandwich was Huge and delicious! Very convenient location, right across the street from the Prudential Center."
