"We visited the restaurant as a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The waitress was so disengaged, rude and irritated the whole time which really impacted on our experience. We had a problem with one of the dishes and she was completely unhelpful and had no desire to apologise or rectify the situation. To make it worse we were charged for a dish that we couldn't eat with no acknowledgement or explanation. the chef was also leaning over the pass and acting unprofessionally, pointing at tables with an aggressive attitude. We have been to Prima a lot however, after this experience, we will not return and I will be sharing my experience so that others don't experience the same."

"Dined out using the government discount. Some menu options weren't included but that was made clear at the beginning of service. We have dietary requirements which were well catered for. The waitress was really attentive without being on top of us all the time. she was lovely. Nice quiet atmosphere, good mix of fellow diners and good views of Tyne and bridges. We would definitely visit again"

"Went to the maven for an anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was very romantic and chilled. The service was very quick and we weren't kept waiting for our food. I found it very good that they offered a vegan menu and you can mix and match for same included price. The food was nice. I had the Thai chicken laska, the only thing I can say is that there was still cartilage and alot of skin left out the chicken, so it tampered with the overall quality of the food. Overall I did have a pleasant experience, will return when restraunt week is on, as quite pricey for quality otherwise"

"I have visited twice now, both times I 've been impressed with the quirky menu and lovely staff. They have a lush selection of healthy foods that taste good and are guilt free. And some treats if you 're feeling sweet. Peanut butter balls and caramel shortbread YUM! I had a really lovely lentil coconut curry with quinoa at a reasonable price, you can also get alternative coconut coffees and turmeric golden elixir which is delicious and super healthy. It is a huge space that feels calm and good to catch up with friends or if you wanted to get on with work, loved the decoration and I will be back and telling everyone about it!"
