"Ms. Harper and her team offered us outstanding food and service for my birthday party. I did them the favor of calling two days ahead to place our orders, and just happened to mention it was to celebrate my birthday, and Ms. Harper pulled out all the stops to make my celebration truly special and memorable. She and her staff had laid out tablecloths, festive napkins, and even met me with a corsage at the door! The surprise was a set of delicious cupcakes to bring our delicious dinner to a graceful close. The fried foods were lightly breaded, moist, and well seasoned--not salty, and flavorful. The bread pudding was one of the best I have had with a truly delicious hard sauce, and great texture. The gumbo was amazing--as all the trophies in her place testify. The red beans and rice had that long-simmered tastiness. It was all amazing--there was not a single complaint from my party of 18. Thank you sincerely, Ms. Harper! I will be your loyal fan forever! "Came here for '2nd lunch ' as I wasn 't too satisfied with my 1st lunch. Very clean decor I 'd say Industrial Farmhouse. Mission Margarita if you prefer your margs more on the sour side this is for you, definitely more acidic. My hope is that, going forward, they lessen the ice and increase the actual drink 5 sips and I was done. Sabor a MI cocktail in keeping with the sour theme...yeah. I 'm definitely a fan of mezcal but I don 't know. I can 't believe I 'm saying this but I actually found the drink a skosh too acidic? It ever so slightly crossed the line of being...harsh. Well, try it yourself perhaps it 's just that I ordered too many acidic things together. Local mushroom ceviche first of all, the description on the menu sounds phenomenal. I was taken aback when the dish arrived kind of scant. Well, 'they ' say less is more, so I kept an open mind and, to my surprise, it was savory and fairly satisfying! Acidic (b/c naturally it 's an Acidic day for me, for some reason, food and drink wise) but pretty flavorful. Avocado chocolate mousse aaaaauuughlllll (Homer Simpson drool). Rich, flavorful, delish.... Staff is friendly, food is creative and seems completely fresh and healthy...Definitely Worth Many Visits!"

"This place is absolutely AWESOME. They have on the menu a huge selection of beer locally crafted. There is nothing comparable with their service , drinks, and food . The menu always changes and always keeps the same quality as offered drinks and food . I have been in MANY places, but THE HOPPY MONK is the BEST. You definitely need to go to San Antonio, Texas, and try out this place!!! I think of it as a gem on delivering quality products and good customer service."

"The family that runs these two Green restaurants as well as Earth Burger and Bok Choy know their stuff!! At Green in particular, you can get just about any kind of dish made vegetarian/vegan. They have mexican foods, american comfort foods, super healthy salads, asian style items, you name it! I love coming to this one in particular because it's not as busy as their Pearl location. Everything here is vegetarian and you can ask for vegan cheese in place of dairy to make meals vegan. They also serve eggs with breakfast but you can swap it for tofu."
