"We had the most intimate, lovely, and excellent dinner on the Friday evening we were in Aix, due to the recommendation of a local businessman. Open for dinner only on Fridays, the tiny courtyard (family) restaurant was just perfect. Incredible food! Very representative of the regional cooking; exquisite food lovingly and proudly prepared. We felt very special to get to enjoy this tucked-away treasure, and long to return!"

"On y est allé ce dimanche vers 14h30, on a commandé et reçu notre commande il manquait un burger avec des morceaux de poulets, 7.à 8 minutes d'attente toujours rien ma fille va voir au comptoir burger pas fait, 6 à 7 minutes d'attente en plus ma fille retourne au comptoir elle redemande son burger, le manager qui était dehors au paravent, l'entend et demande à ses employés (nombreux) de le faire en urgenceAprès avoir attendu un peu pour mangé ensemble mon épouse et moi avions bien entendu fini de déjeuner (des frites pas très chaudes) et ma fille avait mangé ses frites sans avoir le burgerJe pense que le manager aurait pu aller voir ma fille pour lui dire un petit mot gentil et s'excuser du retard considérable de la cuisson du burger et peu être lui remettre une frites en dédommagement de la très longue attentePas très professionnel les employés de ce mc do"

"Most revolt hot dogs in aix. I ate a hot dog here who had cheaply processed strength-style cheddar instead of genuine Cheddar cheese and no taste at all. also the hipster staff is incredibly sniffy and rude for the customers. they're kidding. command and refuse to repair it. pretty sure these are just some young children who have a rich daddy who invite them an empty one and does not rent. they have no accountability and no business sense. Maybe if they pay rent, they would treat their customers properly. house nosh should be renamed house snob with an attitude worst customer experience in aix. this place is simply shameful. the menu is not clear at all."

"Almost at the top of Cours Sextius it is easy to walk past Mama Pig without realising that it does foodThe front half is a cafe with about 16 covers and an open kitchen. At the back is a a room with pictures of tattoos and various items of clothing and books on sale and on display (like an upmarket fashion shop/ art shop/ museum place all in one) - there is also a room with a big window that you can look into. It looks like a clinic/dungeon. There were stairs leading downstairs that we did not exploreMost the staff wore lots of tattoos - but this is not an intimidating place - they were all beaming and friendlyThere is a short menu offering brunch/ cafe foodThere is a display of American and British food on displayThe menu nods strongly towards the USA - macaroni cheese, baked beans and burgers, but also has French sandwiches and pastriesThe lady who does the cooking is not tattooed and makes everything from scratchI ordered a burger and I saw her cut the cabbage and carrot and dress it to make the slaw. Similarly my wife's cheese and tomato sandwich required one of the other staff to go out and return with fresh tomatoes which were then sliced and added to the sandwich being constructedJuices turned up in jars and the salt and pepper pots are in tine confiture jars - very amusingThe food was very good - the burger really tasty with sweet mustard in swirls on the toast enclosing the freshly cooked meat patty and salad leaves. I also got a plate of baked beans - haricot and kidney beans and chick peas - in a tomato sauce with bacon and a sweetness that we presumed was maple syrup - warm and really delicious The toasted cheese and tomato sandwich my wife had was greatly appreciatedWe finished off with lovely coffeeThe cost was fairly minimalAs we were leaving the cook came rushing out with a bag with a brownie in it, on the house, for my young daughter who had decided not to eat with us. My daughter greatly enjoyed the brownie laterThe place is amusing and slightly edgy, it is immaculately clean. The toilets are quirky and cleanThe staff friendly, the food tasty and fresh and very reasonably pricedWe really enjoyed the experience"
