Cafe de l'horloge - Aix-en-Provence

We came here two nights in row because it was a peaceful place to sit on the square and have drinks. We I'm only had wine and olives, but good. Second time there we spoke with waiter Fabrisi who spoke good English and was personable and suggested we visit certain places. Setting is perfect.

We order pancakes with sugar and a coffee. We received cold pancakes and the sugar was kidnapped. We asked for the check and the waiter calculated the amount at our table. It was 4 euro extra (total amount should have been 19 euro) than the prices on the card. When we indicated that, explanation was: prix de saison. No such thing was mentioned on the card. We didn't pay the extra, but please be aware....

Too expensive and the price and card changed, so it was ridiculously expensive. Unbelievable, please don't go there!!!!

Did not eat here but had drinks 3 nights in a row. Very good as a local. As soon as you order they bring a big serving of excellent olives to the table. Waiters are excellent but worked off their feet and do not have time to make small talk if you delay with your order. It`s a very busy bar and the waiters appreciate it if you give your order promptly. Very efficient in their service.

Apart from the glass of syrup " to tap water and not bottled water" for 2.90 euros, the dish of the day was correct. Quick service is good. Coffee - simple resting.
