"I think of any other places at the moment to get this old school soy pudding type of desert anymore, :D so was really happy when i entered in the place and all the decorations and ambiance brings me back to an cantonese desert place. I came during the weekend i thought it's going to be packed, but apparently maybe most of the customers came in the morning, i came in the afternoon around 12 ish and it was empty, but it's good, I got everything that i wanted, pot stickers, chinese doughnut :0, and soy pudding. <br/ <br/ Right cash only guys.<br/ <br/ and yea definitely don't forget to put the sweet ginger sauce to your soy pudding, just a little bit for me it's enough. depending on how sweet you want it to be. defintely will come back :D"

"I wanted to check this restaurant for a while. Cleaning here is terrible. Very bad staff and service, as well as quite respectless to their customers. Had to wait an absurdly long time to get a drink of water. Talk about the staff! Made...we're waiting for OUTSIDE for almost 40 minutes because they told us they had to wipe the table. It was freezing outside too. I was like no problem? But how in the world does it take 40 minutes to delete a table? Unbelievable! There were no customers waiting to sit. Maybe 3 servers didn't stand there! Our group has discussed whether we go to another restaurant or not, but somehow we stayed and waited for another 15 minutes. Anyway, we finally got in. Eating was ok enjoyed the pancakes. Yes, Kaltburger. We asked if they could reheat it, but they refused. Said they couldn't do it because it was already served and that we already took a bite. The restroom was terrible. I'm not sure it was checked the day we came, but it was disgusting. I'm not coming back soon."

"Fairly typical Hong Kong style cafe that offers fairly good food at reasonable prices. With these places don't expect much in the way of service, fancy decor, or cutlery. I had a curry beef brisket (a tad too much fat maybe) with rice and a Hong Kong style milk tea for about 10. It should also be noted that this is a cash only restaurant, they don't accept debit or credit cards."

"After spending an afternoon in Steveston, we decided to take a load off and have lunch somewhere on the waterfront. Expecting to pay a premium for average food from a place right on the water, we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The burger on...a unique pretzel bun was outstanding, and the truffle fries were the best we ever had. Probably the most unexpected surprise from the Kove Kitchen was their selection of authentic Ukrainian dishes. As part of a special menu, they offered borcst, pirogues, varenyky and cabbage rolls. I come Ukrainian decent and have not seen my folks for a long time, primarily due to the pandemic. Stumbling upon the Kove Kitchen and enjoying a comforting meal of delicious, home cooked Ukrainian cooking was the highlight of my day. Our entire experience at the Kove Kitchen was exceptional – the food, view, ambiance and the wonderful service staff. Thank you, we will be back!"
