"This is a good option to try if you're visiting Jean Talon Marche. The place was consistently busy on the two occasions I ate t here, was recommended as a Halaal restaurant option by the local Halaal butchery. A good variety of salads, and the usual Lebanese grills such as kebab, shish talk etc. Good options for vegetarians as well. Will definitely return."

"We have returned for almost 20 years to this unique little cafeteria style restaurant across from The Bay on shopping trips to Montreal from upstate New York. The primary customers were clearly the weekday office lunch time crowd and eating there on weekends was pleasantly quiet and unhurried. It has floor to ceiling windows on both sides of a corner in what appears to have been a prior retail shop or fast food restaurant, and the prices reflected this lack of privacy; it was not the place for an expensive or lengthy meal . The original owner served Turkish or Arabic coffee in traditional small stamped metal cups and delightful tabbouleh, hummus, baklava, kebab, and other Levantine foods. The restaurant changed owners and the windows went unwashed, it was closed on the weekends, and the quality of the menu went downhill. The baklava was commercially produced, and the coffee and tea were almost undrinkable. We continued to eat there because it remained a nice place to have a quick inexpensive meal on a Friday afternoon after the office workers cleared out. Much to our delight the restaurant has a new Lebanese owner, the windows have been washed, the walls have been painted, and the menu has been restored. It is open on the weekends, and the prices remain very reasonable. This place offers ethnic food at it's best - unique, flavorful, and inexpensive, in an unpretentious and informal setting."

"We stopped in at Amir on Sainte Catherine this past Sunday over the May long weekend as we were hanging out in the park across the street listening to the music and our little one was having a blast playing in the water fountains. It was hot outside and time for supper so I got some take out and was very happy with the result. We had a chicken shawarma and a lamb shawarma with extra hummus and pitas, we ate all of it and our little one ate a lot of my lamb and enjoyed it. We will definitely eat here again when we visit Montreal."

"The pizza and bread here are amazing! Such a perfect creation of flavors! The ingredients were super fresh and made to suit my allergies. This is hands down the best food I have ever had from a food court! Very friendly too. A must try!"
