"Stopped by hear on a whim with 6 friends. We were starving from being out all day playing. Tacos hit the spot and the ladies are very friendly. This ended up being our daily quick taco fix for the entire time we were in PVRDefiantly recommend it for great cheap tacos!!"

"Went to Maia recently for the first time and it was outstanding. Duck tacos for appetizer and red snapper for entree. The atmosphere is cute and facilities clean. The staff was attentive and balanced our table's leg when she noticed (we didn't even have to mention it to her). There are a few restaurants I hit up every time I'm in PV and Maia has now become one of them."

"Good food at very reasonable prices! Fresh, delicious and good service. I had the Tostada de ceviche de pescado, taco de marlin ahumado and Chile relleno de marlin (jalapeño filled with marlin then broken and fried). All were excellent and the Chipotle Salsa was also very good."

"If you 've seen Breaking Bad (and if you haven 't, you really ought to), this place is just like Los Pollos Hermanos, complete with artificially polite staff, a map of restaurants that spans Mexico and southern USA, and of course chicken. Though suspiciously fast to...arrive, the food here is pretty ruddy tasty. Particular highlights include the baked potato smothered in melted butter and cheese which makes a great accompaniment to the whole 'carbonised ' chicken. Great value,too."

"This restaurant was recommended to us by a local in a side street shop. We checked out the menu as we were searching for seafood. Edwin was a fantastic host. He explained the menu and told us we could change it to accommodate us in any way. The coconut shrimp were the best we have ever had and were to die for! they created a special dish of mahi mahi wrapped over shrimp and bacon that was out of this world! We enjoyed our time here. Edwin was extremely interesting to talk to and his service was excellent. It's a convenient location not farbfrom the boardwalk. We will visit again!"

"My husband and I were lucky to be staying right up the hill from this amazing find. We ate there each night for 4 nights. You can't beat their al pastor tacos - the seasoning was just right, the fresh pineapple and corn tortillas delicious, and the minced onion and cilantro added a touch of brightness - no salsa needed. 4 tacos were about US$3.50 total. They seem to be open for dinner from 7pm onwards only.This tacqueria appears to be featured as part of a local food tour that highlights some of the best foods in the city.
