"When I first started coming to this restaurant it was simple and good. Now that it has become popular it seems like they can't keep up. The last time I was there I waited two hours for food only to find out the kitchen lost my order. The servers seem not to be aware of customers at the door waiting to be seated and don't seem to be able to follow up with the kitchen. This poor service see s to be a common complaint by others. Such a shame because this was one of my favourite places. I hope they can get their groove back."

"We had a very enjoyable dinner, and far better than we'd expected during an airport layover. Partly because our food was very nice (burgers and desserts both excellent), but especially because of our lovely waitress, who was great with us and our 1 year old, promptly producing some nibbles for him after we ordered, offering recommendations, and managing to retrieve his baby fork after we accidentally sent it back to the kitchen. Rudely, we didn't get her name, so thought we would give her the credit she deserves on here hopefully because of the fork (and date 14 November) you know who you are! Thank you very much for a great experience."

"My husband and I visited Slumdog a couple weeks ago and it truly lived up to its name - SLUMDOG! First of all, no one greets you at the door as you walk in. We weren't sure if we were to seat ourselves or wait for someone to escort us. At least put up a sign that indicates you can seat yourself. The only staff member we saw was a girl at the bar and she had her back turned for so long that she didn't even know we walked in. We had to go up to her and ask her what to do.The menu seemed fine as we read through it, but the biggest disappointment was getting our meals and the food was COLD!!! Nothing was freshly made since it took no time at all to get our food, and we ordered ribs, shrimp, rice and sweet potato fries.For the money we spent, it was a total waste. We would've preferred Swiss Chalet. At least their meals are fresh. Also the restaurant was freezing, which only made our food getting colder, faster.Not once were we ever asked how the meal was or if we needed anything further. It's like they knew the food sucked so they didn't want to hear it. Even when we were paying, we weren't asked if we enjoyed the meal.Nasty! Never going back again."

"Nice atmosphere, great staff, great value for the money but food was average. Would pay for lunch again but wouldn't pay the extra for dinner. $14.99 for both lunch and brunch and that included coffee/tea, juice, slushy and pop. Went for lunch one day and brunch the next. The lunch was definitely better than brunch. The buffet was the same for both, however they added breakfast items for brunch and they were all way below average. The pancakes, waffles and french toast all tasted the same and had a weird, heavy texture. It's almost like they hand molded it all from white bread and mixed it with flavourings. I am not fussy and will ingest just about anything but I gave up on each after a few bites. They had a pasta chef on the egg station and our omelettes were burnt and our over-easy eggs were hysterical.....one hard cooked and the other broken and running all over the plate. They gave him the wrong utensils and he admitted he had never made eggs before. The best items were the beef barley soup, the make your own tacos and the cinnamon buns. I would go back for lunch but never breakfast. Breakfast was a total let down as we were expecting much better quality and selection. All floor staff were awesome and overall, a good experience."

"Having visited Mexico dozens of times, we are pretty picky when it comes to Burrito's and Mexican eats. We've tried all of the local Burrito places and Bar Burrito is the best. Lots of filling and wrap options and sizes, a good selection of toppings,...and they've never messed up an order. Prices are good for what you get however the combo's don't really get you much more food or the price so we usually stick with just the burrito"
