"Of the half dozen restaurants on scenic Capitola Esplanade Paradise Grille is one of the top two. They have an extensive menu with plenty of variety, and a good cocktail and wine list. The handful of prized outdoor seats are not comfortable but is right on the Soquel Creek rivers end with photographable views of the beach. Indoor seating is pleasant but noisy. Our server was pleasant and the food was good by tourist dining standards. The bread was stale and my clams were swimming in butter instead of wine broth but still tasty. As locals, this is a place we take out of town guests but not a regular dining spot for us. We recommend parking in the large city lot several blocks away and walking down to the village."

"We had such a fantastic meal. Crispy fried Brussels Sprouts were awesome. Excellent Caesar salad. Filet Mignon nearly melted on touch. It was served with a sauce so thick and rich I considered not eating it all but only for 2 seconds didn't leave a drop."

"Our server was Jasmine and we were there to celebrate a Galentine’s Weekend/Valentine’s day and she was beyond AMAZING!! She made our experience fun and just really took care of us on a super busy day and we really appreciated it. The ambiance was lovely as well as the food too!"
