"First of all, Rose’s Fine Foods is a diner, yes, but the food coming out of the kitchen is so much more than the usual fried or flat top cooked dishes. Fresh, seasonal, and local is how I describe the good for you, quality foods being served. Rose’s Fine Foods bakes all of their breads and pastries daily for peak freshness and it shows. In addition to homemade ricotta cheese. Rose’s Fine Foods is churning their own butter, and making tortilla’s (for the breakfast tacos). You can also score scratch made hot sauce, granola, and coffee. Rose’s Fine Foods also cares about giving back to their community. They pay their employees a fare wage and donate to a Detroit based charity monthly. How awesome!"

"My absolute FAVORITE Mexican restaurant! Best Mexican food in the City of Detroit! If you haven’t tried it, stop what your doing go get some. You won’t be dissatisfied! I visit here when I’m in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Then afterwards walk next door for some delicious pastries . Happy Eating!!"

"The food was delicious, especially the Bang Bang Shrimp! My top Shelf Long Island was good. The frits were also delicious, but not hot. Our server Matt quickly got our drinks. We ordered our food, the food came fast. Can't wait to go back."

"The waitress never checked on us after she took our orders. 3 of our party of 5 wanted more drinks but we waited a very long time before we had a return visit to ask. 2 of our party had food delivered cold after we waited 45 minutes for it, and the food the rest of us had was only ok, certainly not worth the $29 we paid for it each. The french onion soup was tasteless. The house added a 20% gratuity that we reduced to 15% which was generous given the service we had. An $18 burger is the most popular item on the menu which doesn’t surprise me since the rest of the menu items are over-priced and based on our experience not worth the cost. The ambience was the best part but we won’t go back and don’t recommend."

"Service wasn't good. Our waiter didn't come to us after he took our order. I'm not sure if it was the automatic 18% Gratuity that was added to our bill that felt like he didn't need to see if we were satisfied with our food, needed a refill, napkin or anything. The food wasn't that good either. Lambs were boiled over and shrimp pasta was excessively salty. We got more attention from the bus boy who put our table while we were still sitting and waiting for our bill for 15 minutes, to which we had to ask another waiter because ours were not found."
