"Ordered two meals here. Both contained ground beef. The meat was gray in color and cinnamon in taste. The meals were not very flavorful at all. The lettuce looked wilted and old. It was noon when we ate there, there was 3 staff members on and NO ONE in line and only 2 of us in the dining area. I will not be going back there anytime soon. If you want Mexican, don't bother going here. Try another chain."

"I had a great experience at the restaurant recently. The food was fast and delicious- I had a spicy chicken burrito and it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. The service was outstanding- the staff were really friendly and attentive. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great burrito experience!"

"We were looking forward to our visit as several friends had recommended Gilt. We visited around 5:30 on Sunday. We were seated promptly and our drinks were taken right away. We placed our order but, despite the restaurant being nearly empty at that time, we waited a very long tune until our first plate arrived. The scallops were tasty. However it was close to an hour before our other food arrived. The open kitchen allowed us to view the staff at work. Verrrrrry slow. Also it didn't appear they were wearing hairnets, etc, so not the greatest impression for those viewing then as they prepped our food. We had the tuna tacos, lamb ribs, stuffed peppers, and the Korean chicken. We liked the chicken and lamb. However, the tuna came drizzled with mustard which was not a good flavor combination. We were undecided whether or not we cared for the pepper dish. All in all, we were disappointed and likely won't return to Gilt due to the slow kitchen service and the actual dishes themselves. For the money, the dishes should be in point, as well as the service. We travel and dine extensively and we know they can do better"

"We had a delicious and relaxing dinner here! We were seated as soon as we arrived (about 6:30pm on a Friday and had excellent service from Kayla A. The restaurant was pretty full and had a good vibe about it. They have a pretty concise...menu, but I think there is something to make everyone happy on it: apps/salads/soups/hot cold sandwiches/mains/desserts. We all enjoyed our meals, which were more filling than they may have appeared at first. The atmosphere and dress are casual and guests of all ages are welcome. (I am not sure if they have a separate children's menu. There is a bar off to one side that was pretty busy that night--food is served there as well. We would be happy to return here! (They have 1/2 price wine every Thursday as a promo."

"We've been to Charcoal Steak House a couple of times in the past few months and recently took friends of ours with us. From starters through to desserts there was not one single unhappy face among us!Collectively for starters we had caesar salad, calamari, and their roasted red pepper soup with goats cheese. Everything packed such a punch in flavour and the complementary fresh bread and hot biscuits beautifully paired with the soup and salad.Every single person at the table had a steak and all were done perfectly. The sauces and sides varied across the table and every one was happy.Dessert was fabulous - my fiance's was treated to a special non-menu item for his birthday, super chocolatey! I had the lemon tart which left such a nice fresh taste, and there was cheesecake and a chocolate bomb which we all tried a little of.On top of their amazing food, their service is wonderful every single time and the atmosphere is just so nice - it feels elegant but in a relaxed way. Just an overall great experience whenever we go."

"I stopped in for lunch with a friend for the first time today. It's basically a take-out place, but there were 3 tables for 2 in the restaurant and we chose to eat in. It was hard to choose from the many good options on the menu, and I was surprised to find that my need to eat wheat-free didn't pose many limitations since they were quite willing to customize my order to accommodate my needs. We both had the All Day Breakfast Sandwich and the soup of the day which was a roasted parsnip & coconut - not the kind of soup I would normally try, but this didn't seem like a normal kind of restaurant. Both options were superb - great flavour and so unique.The price is a little higher than I would usually expect for this kind of place, but the quality and creativity of the food was well worth it. I would definitely go back, even if just to try more options from the menu."
