"I live near the restaurant but had never tried their food until last Sunday when we ordered takeout for four people. It was hot and delicious with an abundance of food. We tried coconut shrimp, Cantonese chow mein and various other dishes and all were really good. Service was fast and excellent. We will go back again soon."

"It used to be a great place for a schnitzel!! But last time we were there with my husband (March 3. 2017), the schnitzel was very dry, probably reheated in the microwave! They did not have mashed potatoes; actually they did have them, but the waitress told us not to get them because the were lumpy! So I went for French fries (which I never eat) and my husband had their home fries, and they were way too greasy; one reason I did not order them this time (from my previous experience) We had the special with the Czech beer for $ 19.99/person!! It was around 3:00 pm, mind you, so not at lunch time. The beer was the best part of the meal! I had a Cesar salad which was nothing to write home about! No garlic, no taste. My husband had a potato soup with pickles!? But the size of the soup bowl was no bigger than my palm and I have very small hands! He said the soup was OK, but I tasted it and never would cook it at home, even though it's supposed to be a Czech recipe! It used to be a very good restaurant when they had a Czech, or German owners, but I do not think we will go there now, even when starving! After all we can get good Czech beer in the beer store and I can cook much better than that!!"

"My family group of 9 enjoyed a delicious Mothers Day lunch at the Concordia Club today. The price of $35 per person was quite reasonable considering the quality and selection of food served. There was a breakfast station for those wishing traditional bacon, sausage and egg choices. The salad choices included garden salad, German Potato salad, cole slaw and macaroni salad. There was fresh shrimp as well as muscles. A selection of rolls as well. Hot food items included mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, red cabbage, schnitzel, roast beef and chicken. The dessert choices were endless and all were delicious. However, the best part of the experience was the the presence of Miss Concordia. She greeted each visitor at the door and presented a lovely single flower to each mother. During the meal, she went from table to table and took a photo of each child with his/her mother. These were then printed off in colour and children were allowed to go to a special activity table set up in the lobby to colour the front of the paper card and add stickers and glitter. Wow! An amazing keepsake and it kept little ones busy who otherwise might have gotten restless. We are planning on coming back again next year for Mothers Day."

"We didn’t get to eat. We went to the cruise night. It was packed. They are understaffed and the staff is very rude. I tried to speak to the hostess to get a table. She wouldn’t even look at me. A waitress said “sit wherever you can get a table” so some people left and we stood by the dirty table for 10 minutes. Nobody came or said “be there in a second”. My wife moved cleared the people’s dirty plates and we sat at a dirty table. We waited 30 minutes and not one person said a word. We decided the schnitzel probably wasn’t worth the wait so we left. My wife spoke to the manager who was very rude. No apologies or empathy. She actually said “how could they know you wanted to eat when you sat at a dirty table?” So they can keep their food and I strongly recommend one of the other German restaurants in our beautiful city. We will not be back. We will tell our friends."
