"Kayaked on a beautiful summer day to Dingy Dock. The kayaks stick to their private dock. Waitress quickly found us a table outside with shadows. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our server Kim was very good. The fish tacos and the jug...Salad were fantastic! Very delicious with good portion sizes! A very pleasant and pleasant lunch” Be back soon!"

"Stopped in for lunch after a hike last weekend. Shared a plate of onion rings and cheese tortellini. Both we enormous and tasty! Lots of inexpensive drink options even though it was pre-happy hour. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Patio was nice and sunny although it is right by a busy road. This plaice would be a great choice for family dining or anyone with a huge appetite :)"

"Unique wonderful experience on a floating restaurant in the harbour. Excellent quality food, and friendly prompt service here. Chicken Quesadillas and Halibut Tacos were our order, along with Margaritas of course !!"

"The food was good had the famous lobster very enjoyable. It was enjoyable that is until I got home, I started to feel very very unwell and didn't sleep that night. If yoy must go avoid the seafood, my friend didnt try it and had no issues. For a restaurant that charged 100 dollars for my bill this is unacceptable"

"Food is pretty good, but when a waiter simultaneously spilled two drinks on two guys laps, the manager only offered to comp the drinks. Definitely not an appropriate response to such a major mistake, but after a great deal of debate with the manager, the two guys got their meals comped. Should have just started with that. Staff are usually friendly, and the atmosphere is casual. Great place for an expensive pub-style meal and an equally expensive drink, or to watch the game, they just need to brush up on the finer points of hospitality. Most of the staff and managers are young students, or just young in general, so lack of hospitality (and life) experience is definitely understandable. Great place to go to support working students."

"I love this place. The food is yummy with lots of gluten free choices and the staff is wonderful. They do not have a dedicated fryer so the chips and deep fried things are not safe but the rest is great. I eat here at least once a month and haven’t had a reaction."

"Take the halibut off your menu. I am embarrassed for you serving a sliver of dried up halibut, this really makes your establishment look bad. Your staff should be able to answer if one can tie up with their boat and come up for lunch, not very informed the staff considering they are on top of a Marina. The table beside us also talked amongst themselves of the awful hali....no but fish."

"My wife and I have been here a few times for lunch and once for dinner. The service has always been good and the food is very good but the view is great. Try to get a table by the window and watch the boating world go by.The often have music on the weekends in season and once we showed up at a karaoke night.You can eat in the pub upstairs or dine in the fancy restaurant down below, which has a great outside deck"

"We have been loyal and frequent customers at Ricky's for years, but in the last month have found a sharp decline in both menu quality and service. Our most recent visit gave us vegetable soup that was little more than tasteless boiled vegetables covered with...grease, followed by congealed liver, onions, potatoes, gravy and an unhealthy and unappetizing dollop of greasy fried turnip cubes. When the waiter asked how things were going we told him it was not up to the usual standard, and he replied with a string of facetious cracks. The waits for everything, including the bill, seemed endless while he chatted idly with other staff. The pandemic cannot be blamed for any of this. A restaurant should close its doors before descending to the level of a poor soup-kitchen. Very sad."
