"I have a special affinity for local dives, and this is one that the locals have a long-term affinity. I think there's something to say about loyalty. Embedded in a stripe-mall/square, Carlitos waits to stop diners and grab a quick bite of Tex Mex, which seems rare to change. Get a beef-burrito plate. They won't be disappointed. "I came here because of the pictures of the hot wingz on Google. Originally, I called in to get a to go order but there was only 1 cook so to go orders could not be taken. Seems like a cool place to come eat, drink, chill, throw some darts, shoot some pool, watch the sports, catch up on some local news, listen to some music, hear people laugh and talk, see new faces and meet new people. The bar tender doubled as a waitress which was real smooth she didn't skip a beat on the re-fills at the perfect time. Our onion rings were very hard, however we didn't complain because of the really cool atmosphere we didn't want to be the bearers of bad news so we just chilled and enjoyed the time there"

"We wanted to try this place since our favorite place in the lees summit maggie’s closed. I'm sorry this place is so bland. the salsa is a diluted version, so I asked for a hot salsa that was equal to the original. I couldn't find any heat. the rice had no taste, the cheese enchiladas had tomato sauce on it. the service was very good and they were very nice and friendly. I wish they had no fear to use some chili peppers in their food."

"For a Raytown Mexican establishment this place is pretty good. There are plenty to choose from... This one may not have as many options as others, but this one is no nonsense, fast service and had big ample tacos for all you can eat. Price is right. Chips and crunchy tacos are not gross and wet. Wish they had soccer on the tube and the salsa is pretty tame. Back again and again, the tacos and service never disappoint."
