"My father has been heading to Ichiban for years, as he used to be taken here by his former bosses. Since he left that company, we have only gone to Ichiban infrequently, however we have also order trays from them as well.The restaurant itself is quite clean and very accommodating, as well the staff has always been polite and extremely helpful. Food is always fresh and the stuff they have in-house is miles better than what they do for platters (I believe this is commonplace with most, if not all restaurants, however I'm not sure) and among their in-house food, the great stuff includes Takoyaki, Spicy Salmon Rolls and the most lovely sushi boat you will ever see.Great location too! Parking can be a bit tricky though."

"Good Japanese AYCE compound in the heart of north york. service is friendly (especially justin our waiter), efficient and easy. if I had a suggestion, it would be a call button, making tables easier to order additional foods than in traditional Japanese restaurants. eating was pretty good, our group had the black menu that was the biggest part quite delicious. some orders are hit-or-miss and I would personally recommend the beef and pork. the chicken is a bit more difficult to cook over the grill without overcooking the inner. overall, it is a good upscale AYCE buffet that is exactly as advertised; a meat extravaganza with large service and a lot of food."

"Such a cute little cafe on the second floor. The atmosphere, lighting and decor is modern and welcoming. Their rose tea comes in a cute tea pot with mini cups which seems to be popular there. Also I would totally recommend the Matcha Crepe Cake, especially for those who do not enjoy overly sweet things. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and the matcha flavour is not overpowering either. The cream in between each thin layer of crepe reminded me of ice cream. It was perfect! Their spicy rice cake wasn't the best though. However, the service was good. It is a great place for friends to talk and catch up."
