"Salmon Teriyaki was very bland and the sauce was very watery base. Didn apos;t taste like teriyaki at all. California roll spicy Mayo was the only good thing. I apos;m 8 months pregnant and extremely disappointed because I was really craving this meal. Sticking with Mr. Sushi."

"Fabulous ramen, super well done and very very quick. We ordered the Gates of Hell, the Black Pig, and the Porfilio ramen bowls, and an order of Karaage. Ramen was $13 each and $9 for karaage. Dinner for 3 at $60 including tip is a good value in my opinion. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the pork belly chashiu was so tender it was falling apart! I had the black pig which was phenomenal with lots of black garlic oil. I added togarashi for slightly more spice. They also have a spice bomb option for any type of ramen they offer. I thought the Porfilio broth tasted too strongly of corn since it has corn in it, but I’m also very sensitive/picky. Server was friendly and the service was super fast. Ambience is nice too. They are cash only which is an important note. Not an issue for us but nowadays many people do not carry cash. ATM was nearby however as we overheard the neighboring table did not realize it was cash only until time to pay the bill. Also the server (maybe owner? mentioned they close early some nights since the pandemic since they are less busy. He said to call ahead to ensure they are open (it says open til 10pm online but they closed the kitchen by 8:30 when we were there . They also offer takeaway and BYOB, plus they have a veggie ramen option!"

"An unpretentious, cheap yet delicious spot for some good ramen with huge portions. Ambience is a bit weird—they still had Christmas decorations up in april—but it’s not like we were expecting fine dining. A solid lunch spot"

"Fishtown is crazy busy on a Saturday night. Many places to choose from. TBH, this was not our first choice, but without reservations, we couldn't get in anywhere else. This is a simple, basic, place with decent ramen. Not fancy, but it was hearty and good and the service is friendly. You can get a discount if you pay cash. Not a lot of tables, but the could seat us right away."
