"Can’t believe a wine tasting in hotpot restaurant, they offer organic wines pairing with 5 tapas . I tried this wine and food pairing, very delicious and worth the money! You can buy Summer hill wine same price as the winery . Amazing ????"

"You can tell the difference in its quality. Dealt with care and details, never noticed the temperature of sashimi is that important. House roll comes with their unique combination, BBQ madai skin was also surprisingly good. It was definitely worth the booking and waiting. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The ramen, soup base really good. Could smell the sardine soup base right away. The spicy miso not so spicy. Not worth thee $6 for the chicken karrage. Oh, they charge $1 for tea. Rip off"

"This is not your traditional Japanese sushi bar. Run by a bunch of young Korean entrepreneurs, it puts its emphasis on fancy sushi rolls, sashimi, while the traditional nigiri is not overlooked. Red tuna and hamachi, the pricier fish, are also on its regular menu. There are also plenty of cooked food to order from, and the menu has a section on Korean food. Plating is fancy, quality good and fresh, portion adequate. Bento/lunch set available. Reasonably priced. California roll, arguably the most popular on the west coast, has an overwhelming amount of imitation crab meat while the avocado is miniscule - a disappointment to me. Service is brisk and efficient. Tables are tight. Located almost at the very western end of Chatham Street, so it‘s quite a bit far from Steveston‘s business central. Reservation recommended, even for lunch. 3 exclusive spots outside, otherwise free street parking shouldn‘t be a problem. Major credit cards accepted."

"More sushi! This time I went to Kiriri, an authentic sushi restaurant near the Garden City plaza in Richmond. Salmon ochazuke: $6. Ochazuke is a Japanese dish made by pouring tea over cooked rice. The tea had a savoury taste — possibly green tea containing dashi stock. It was an interesting dish — it was my first time trying ochazuke and I thought it was worth trying. I got salmon with the ochazuke, which had a really strong and nice smoky flavour. It was quite filling as well."
