We recently had a sushi lunch here. The sushi bar is small and quiet but the meal was great. The Japanese staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. We certainly will go back. View all feedback.
Nice tiny family run Japanese sushi restaurant next to the Sanctuary Cafe. Their ramen texture is good but too little meat! They serve very fresh and tasty sushi/rolls with refreshing Japanese tea. We like their spicy tofu salad and oyako don as well.
I’ve gone here since I was young and it was always my favourite for sushi. I always went there for birthdays and special events. Mary, the owner is so kind and sweet and the sushi quality is too noch. Make sure to visit this underrated sushi place when in Steveston.
The deluxe futomaki is very good. The tea is better than other places, which tend to get watered down.Would’ve liked a bit more sashimi in the chirashi, but the quality of the fish isn’t bad (except for the slice of seared fish which just fell apart on its own). The hotate was good.
Our family's favourite for sushi takeout. Family-run, consistently fresh. Has limited hours with a smaller menu, but that fits the simple vibe of this place.
Melt in your mouth type of sashimi. But heads up, they are small portions, especially when doing take out
