"Dropped in for a drink with my wife at 8:15 on Thurs June 9/22. The hours kept were stated as 3pm-midnight. We were looking for a quiet place to unwind, away from the bustle of Bernard ave. To our suprise, we were told by a young server that the bar had just closed which we thought odd, because the bartender had just finished preparing drinks for another young woman seated at the bar. We were surprised, but shrugged and headed back to Bernard, and instead found a lovely place called Micro Bar Bites. We had good drinks, a great appetizer, and we were happy to leave a large tip for the charming and welcoming staff. On our way back to our car, we passed The Orchard Room again. It was now past 10pm, and most of the lights were off, but the young woman who had turned us away was still inside, seated at a table with the other young woman, both still sipping drinks, several empty glasses between them. I wouldn't presume to tell the owner how to run their business, but I admit I find it an interesting strategy turning away paying customers, hours before official close, while allowing staff to consume the product they should be selling? I could be wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if The Orchard Room isn't meeting profit targets!"

"Tasty dishes, but definitely on the expensive side. Portions are also not always enough after a long, cold day on the slopes. The Scallop appetizer (3) was delicious, while the Ravioli was sublime. The Squash Soup was also delicious, but at $18, definitely on the...rich side. There was a $2 charge for a few slices of bread to go with the soup tacky if you ask me. Service was attentive BUT they were eager to finish the 6PM tables in time for their even more expensive 8PM tasting menu crowd. Very loud noise PLUS unnecessary background music."

"We have been to BNA several times in the past few years, but not for several months always found the food and service good. It is a busy, noisy pub atmosphere that often has large groups, which is okay usually and adds to the...fun atmosphere. But last night when we were there , the staff and management seem to lost the handle of what is the appropriate boundary line , between groups having fun, as compared to those that are extremely drunk and obnoxious, and how a restaurant should handle them. We were there last night on Saturday at 6;00pm for dinner, sitting on the upper level. There were lots of large tables with parents and children as well, as there were season ending dance recitals for kids, and other activities going on downtown . Seated near us was a larger group of 8 10 young men, most of who were clearly drunk. They were yelling at each other with every second word being f this and f that, along with a lot of other sexual language completely inappropriate for the setting and the families around them. These also proudly and loudly exclaimed how drunk they already were, and how much more drunk they were going to get. The BNA staff did nothing to attempt to deal with them or quiet them, let alone ask them to leave, or cut them off. BNA staff seem not to know or care about the ‘Serve it Right’ program they just kept providing them with more and more liquor , as the group became more and more obnoxious . We ate as fast as possible, so as to get away from the. Extreme profanity I felt very bad for the surrounding families with kids, who were looking extremely uncomfortable with the situation. Is BNA a ‘fun’ environment to go for dinner, or ‘family friendly’? not so much. I won’t be back anytime soon."

"We decided we would go to Lord Chumley's instead of C-Food Lovers should of went to C-Food Lovers! We were going to have the special of the day but they were sold out so we had the two piece cod meal. My wife found a black hair in her coleslaw and told the waitress she didn't seem to concerned and asked if she wanted more coleslaw she said no I said bring her another piece as the fish was on top of the coleslaw and you can comp her meal and I will pay for mine. Went to pay the waitress said she couldn't comped her meal and giving her a piece of fish was good enough! I said I wasn't happy and I wanted to talk to the owner. Had to call her the next day.I talked to the owner Tracy she said her staff told her what happen and said I wanted both meals comped and that giving my wife a piece of fish was good enough! I told her that I was willing to pay for mine meal and was not pleased with the service we went out of our way to come to her place and not to C-Food Lovers as we had not been there for awhile and had been there many times over the years she said that was basically our choice. I told her that we had a similar thing happen at Kelly O'bryans and they comped the meal and gave us $20 in gift certificates and she said " Good for them"! She was basically sounded pissed of at me and I told her we will NEVER be back there again!On to the food cod was small portions the size of playing cards and fries were greasy.Place needs updating same look for the last 20 yrs."

"I come here every time I go to Kelowna but this time the service wasn't the best. We had to wave down the waitress. The food is good but I find a bit overpriced. The view is gorgeous. I prefer Old Vines for food and view but the Winery itself is a must visit!"

"We returned to Raudz for our fourth visit from out of province. It literally never disappoints us, the staff (Mike) is a fantastic server, and our meal was delicious. We had the sockeye salmon BLT and pasta with prawns and talked about the food all...the next day. We will always come back to Raudz!"
