"I have been a fan of this restaurant for several years have expereinced the different styles of its 2 succeeding chefs. elton, the present one, concocts inventive, wonderful tasting dishes that meet the challenge of the wines lavinia has to offer. no mean feat...as lavinia is a top drawer wineshop that has top grand crus as well as a great selection of wines for everyday drinking. delicious wines-by-the glass are offered to accompany the dishes prepared by the chef be they à la carte or from the set menu which changes every week. i have often put my trust on the sommelier/waiter have never been disappointed by his recommendations. some entries in the à la carte menu can be served in tapas or full portions. enjoying luscious food in the simply tastefully decorated restaurant surrounded by the shop's wine collection enhances the dining (lunch only! experience. private dinners can be srranged planned in the evenings we have done so twice already to our guests our great satisfaction. the service is friendly, polite and very welcoming, from the wineshop manager to the other service staff. one has to be very disciplined not to end up buying wine or something else from the shop. one of my favourite restaurants that i regularly go to in geneva!"
