"Almost perfect. The food is just excellent, freshly prepared and very nicely presented. If I had to find a negative point, it would be the slowness of the service. It was not disturbing as we had time. Also it's kind of tough to find parking spots in the area, the best is to go to the underground parking at Malley and walk 5 minutes."

"Located in one of the most typical place of Lausanne, between the cathedral and the old castle. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace with a great view on the cathedral. The street is pedestrian which is great for children who can play in the street during the lunch. The food is the usual italian, but the meals are home-cooked and you feel the difference in your plate. The waitress was very nice and professional. The bill is very reasonable, nearly cheap given the great location and the touristic neighborhood."

"This was the restaurant where we first realized how good Swiss wines are! We asked our waiter for a glass of local wine and ended up with more than one. The food was excellent as well. My husband and I shared a warm goat cheese,...honey, and truffle salad and then he had truffle ravioli. I had a saffron pasta with shrimp and everything was quite delicious!"

"It's been a long time since I had such excellent Italian cuisine with a great service. The menu is small but offers interesting options that you usually do not see in other Italian restaurants. The service was really great and friendly. The Tiramisu was delicious and light. I highly recommend this place. The price corresponds to the quality of the food. If there is a negative point to mention, it would be the location, but the owner has done everything to make it beautiful."

"My spouse and I had a very disappointing visit to L'Accademia on August 6, 2022. We duly made a reservation in the morning for an evening dinner. The first disappointment was the seating. We ended up at a table without lake view behind a delivery tricycle which the restaurant uses as an advertising sign board. At first the hostess wanted my spouse to sit right in front of the tricycle which of course I immediately changed out of respect for my spouse. So for a big portion of the evening I have been studying the gear mechanism of a tricycle. We ordered an antipasti which was ok but in stead of giving us some time after the antipasti they immediately served the linguine alla vongele which was very poorly cooked and looked more than a rice pudding to me. Later in the evening the service got very poor and several times I had to pour outwater and wine myself. Also they made me run into the restaurant to get another bottle of water. At the end of the evening several tables with a much nicer view beccame available and after giving the waiter a very nice tip we finally got a table with a nice and open view. The cappucino and the last 15 minutes of our stay was delicious ! Edward (Eddie) Barbé"

"Watch out for reservations with the fork! The boss sends his waitress to explain to you that you booked too late and that you will have to pay the full price even though the application works very well. And if you ask to speak with him directly, you are told that he doesn't have time to talk to you. This dishonest behavior is not acceptable and is intended to lure customers with low prices and take away that advantage when they are seated and ready to order and hungry."
