"This was the only restaurant we were a bit disappointed with during our trip to Annapolis Royal. The food was good but not great, but the pricing was very high for very modest portions. The service was very good as was the view from the rear deck."

"This place was great! they were very well informed about zöliakie. most of their menus can be made gluten-free. I didn't have the pizza, but they offered it gf. the Schellfisch-Special with skalopps and fritten was wonderful and the must for dessert has not got me sick too! highly recommended."

"My lunch was excellent and the rustic tomato soup was the best soup I've ever had. The waitress was so accommodating. I loved the iced tea, too. I had a lovely quiche, too."

"This is THE coffee shop in town and it's a notch (or six) above what might be expected in a small town coffee shop. Great treats, excellent coffee/tea/hot chocolate options, and excellent staff make it a delight to visit, but if you stop and get off your feet for a moment, you'll also become engaged in local conversation. Or not, your choice, no pressure! A lovely spot."
