"Spent the day in Blackpool with my family noticing that a lot of people were quite ignorant until we went into the Mermaid Cafe. Outside we noticed a signboard boasting the big boys breakfast. I must say it was a lovely cooked breakfast and good value for money and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. This put a smile on my face after the ignorant people we'd encountered during the day. So thankyou..If you ever go to Blackpool go and get a big boy, haha."

"Now it is the cottage chip shop had the £7 special, big squid, big chips and a large side. delicious, cooked to order and massif, we had to leave a few chips, as two of us could not eat everything! will definitely return."

"Spotted this chippy by chance when me and wife finished shopping and were glad we did. Both of us had large fish and chips..me with cheesy chips. Superb experience and highly recommended. Couldn't eat it all so took rest home for tea...really nice"

"Ridiculous prices, we ordered a choc cake, beans on toast (cheapest bread), bacon and egg roll, tea, x2 coffee and a hot chocolate...hardly any change from £40 ! If the food tasted good you wouldnt mind but it literally is basic bog standard. They do not take cash (wonder why) either and cash machine outside the building takes £1.99 per transaction. Maybe ideal for a dog but I certainly wont be back"
